Boys, I need your help. The year end “best of” flyer needs some writers. I'm hoping I might get some input and short reviews on hits and misses from 2008 to add to my nattering.
Any takers?
I think I'll publish a list of everything released so far and we can divide up some candidates that fall into the great, average and misses. I intend to cull the blog for a fair bit but will likely need some added pieces to fill up the flyer this year.

ReplyDeleteI just wanna ask, what sort of compensation packages are we looking at here? Are you going to determine it by the letter or by quality? I mean, i'll probably be the front runner for both. I was just wonderin'.
I was thinking maybe.... 1) continued employment and 2) an invite to the 2008 Christmas Staff Party. Joe gets a first round bye for his stellar Kurt Cobain doc review earlier this year, perhaps the best piece written here yet. Kris, your 2-part X-files review rocked too, but I deducted points for your crybaby iPod response back in May/June. Men don't show their feelings to other men. It's a rule.

ReplyDeletei forget what's come out in the past year. maybe we should get a list together of mentionables and kick that around. use the blog to put up reviews for the ones we've seen. Or i could just close my eyes and try to remember em' ya know.. either way.
oh, we need to put Joe's Doomsday review up too. that one was a good one, and Scott's Los Muertos review i liked that one alot
