aesthetics 3

Ok, with apologies to the Kris(t) child for putting the blocks to him a month or two ago when he “loved all over Joe” about the updated blog font/colouring, .... this new one is really good. It's a shame that the people running IE or Chrome will never see it. Nice one Joe.

thank you re: the aesthetics comments - i don't know why, but people seem to hate on the colour green. we'll probably see it again before the month is through though, but maybe not. i'm trying (for the month of oct.), to get as many different layouts in as possible, because i've got a ton of awesome pics from horror films.

now, re: the blog being broken, and/or not working in other browsers - not really sure what's going on, other than that your earlier comment that "kris broke the blog" may not be completely off-base. i noticed that there's a bit of a gap between the title of his pee-wee post and the first body text, so i went to delete that from the post, but there's miles of html code that is taking up that space, and when i try to remove any of it, the error message comes on. this code is not there on regular posts. so, to make a long story short - i'm not computer savvy enough to know exactly what you did, kris, but i think you broke the blog.

oh well - firefox is the better browser anyway, and if this is the impetus for people to start using it, so be it. but i'm sure by now most people have figured out that it doesn't work in IE and Chrome, and, for the children's sake, have deleted firefox and promptly downloaded those two. such is the price of infamy.

Joe... Kris has cut and pasted his Pee Wee post from something like Word and the formatting conflicts with the HTML code in blogger. You should have file permissions as the chief blog bitch to edit his post. You were on the right track by trying to delete all the superfluous code, but it might be Kris that has to do it. Tell him to copy all of his post to "notepad" and then back into the blogger edit box. That will leave the Word formatting out. Alternately, you could just delete the post entirely and have the Kris(t) child redo it.

ok - everything should be fixed now. i reformatted kris' post and removed all that extraneous ms word code, so you can use IE or chrome if you so wish. all is well in the universe again...

i gotta ask, what's with the hate on There Will Be Blood?

sure it was partially ruined by its own hyperbole but still. it's a great fucking flick by a great fucking director. I found There Will Be Blood leaps and bounds the superior to No Country. but that's my two cents.

oh and Speed Racer needs it's own two page insert.
