A little late but worth a look

hahah amazing. the herzog one is a little too close to the real thing to be funny. thanks for sharing...

slightly off-topic:
is it blasphemous of me to say that i've grown a bit weary of herzog's "schtick" and that his films of late, while still beautiful to look at and technically excellent, are starting to dip their toes into the realm of hyperbolic (hyperbowlic?) self-parody?

i've got my fire-retardant suit on, so let the flame wars begin...

Of course many human beings don't completely understand the calamitous excitement associated with my later films. I believe that they radiate a peculiar understanding of the essence of humans simply being, a closed spiritual weirdness that permeates layers of psychoneurosis and an oddness that lay at the very centre of our souls, creating a vortex of emotional antigravity that implodes upon our expectations as we drift further from a deeper misunderstanding of our basic limitations.
