This short animated film is going to be screening at Hot Docs, appropriately, before the Bill Hicks film. However, for those that can't make it to the screening, I found it online. It's a hilarious little film, and if you don't know the backstory, now you do.

i've seen this before while on a baseball kick which included watching Ken Burns' Series...It's really good stuff...But is it really Dock Ellis' Testimony in the video?
yeah, i think it's real - if you peep the credits it says sumpin' 'bout the narration being recorded for "american public media". he only died a coupla years ago, so it's pretty plausible that they got the sound clip from a few years earlier and matched the animation to that.
oh yeah, that ken burns series is soooooooooooooooooo gooooooooood.
